And I bet there are many more not in English albums in the lower reaches that just don't garner consensus) and would put my expectation for albums as opposed to songs at something closer to a third for a generalist publication. (For songs I can't imagine there not being an outright majority based on my own listening.)
If you went through lists of the year's best songs, rather than albums, I wonder if the ratio of non-Anglophone songs would increase.
